The Salawara Estate is one of the first estates we partnered with spread across 400 acres in the fabled hills of Chikmagalur, the Salawara Estate was started in 1880. It produces delicious Arabica and Robusta beans that have won various awards in India and abroad. They have recently forayed into specialty coffee with much greater vigor. Their efforts and dedication have taken their coffees to new levels of flavor and deliciousness. Run by the father-son duo of Mr. Gowda and Sharan Gowda, they share our commitment to taking Indian coffee to great heights. Our South Tart comes from Karadykan Estate. Located in the Billirianga Hills, Chikmagalur, at an altitude of 3203-3600 meters above sea level, it is one of the four estates owned by Sangameshwar Coffee, which also owns Attikan Estate. This estate cultivates many selections. Charles and William Crawford started the Karadykan Estate in the early 1900s. Mrs. Appadurai and Mrs. Hamsini Appadurai significantly improved the estate through their learnings. They learned and developed techniques to make their.
Our Cent% Floral Coffee comes from Baarbara Estate, situated at 4,000-5,200 feet. Baarbara Estate is run by the third generation of seasoned Chikmagalur coffee cultivators from the Indavara family, which owns MG Plantations. The family has cultivated coffee for over 120 years and is deeply committed to sustainability, with certifications by UTZ and the Rainforest Alliance. Selection 795, 99% Arabica bean, is shade-grown on the high, elevated hills of the Western Ghats.
